Board & Train

The board & train program is available for puppies 24 weeks and older and includes in-home boarding to ensure a comfortable, structured environment. This program builds on the basic obedience skills taught in the Puppy Head Start program and adds important everyday commands such as walking on a leash, heel, wait, leave it, and off. Puppies are introduced to both slip leads and e-collars in a safe and positive way, while continued socialization helps reinforce confidence and adaptability. For those interested in developing a hunting companion or preparing for hunt tests, the program also includes training with bumpers, birds, whistles, holding blinds, decoys, gunfire, bird boy-thrown marks, winger-thrown marks, water marks, and force fetch. All training is fully customizable based on your goals, and the duration of the program will depend on your puppy’s needs and progress.

This program is not exclusive to retrievers. The Board & Train Program is open to all dog breeds and sizes.
