Five stars all around for Amber and Riptide Thunder Kennels - Highly recommend!! Amber helped provide a wonderful foundation for our puppy, Annie. Amber and her husband, David, provided Puppy Head start for our chocolate lab in 2023. Annie was loved and cared for like she was Amber's own puppy. In addition, Amber provided excellent socialization opportunities and extensive time in the community for Annie. Amber's skillful puppy training was evident when Annie transitioned home to us. Two years later, we are still reaping the benefits of Annie's time with Amber.

I cannot recommend Riptide Thunder Kennels enough for puppy training. Frank came four weeks earlier than we were expecting and we already had a vacation booked where we couldn't bring him so we left him at the trainer for four weeks. Amber was amazing! So detail oriented and worked on basic commands and potty training, highly recommend!! 100% worth the drive to Columbia. We will be using her for boarding in the future.

Amber and her husband were very kind! We put in our request very short notice and she was very quick to respond, keeping us up to date on our Muenster through text and photos. They were also very flexible when we realized we would need to pick up a bit earlier. I fully recommend!

Our dog had the time of his life at Riptide Thunder Kennels. The owners are awesome and respond quickly. Bubba was exhausted and so happy when he came home! Will 100% bring Bubba back!

We highly recommend this kennel. The owners took very good care of our dogs. It is easy to see how much they enjoy working with animals. The grounds and pens were clean. It was a huge relief to go on vacation not worried about our pets. Thank you Riptide!

I absolutely recommend Riptide Thunder Kennels, we needed a boarder last minute for our two dogs and they allowed us to drop in last minute to see their facilities. The dogs had so much room to run and the outdoor kennels were air-conditioned which is a must for SC summers. We have two very different dogs, a very friendly, needy husky and an anxious reactive mixed breed and BOTH dogs had a great time. They were chill upon pickup (not stressed) and we received pictures of them looking happy and relaxed/playing every day we were gone. It makes so much of a difference leaving town knowing that your dogs are in good hands and someone is always there checking in on them and they aren’t just laying around an empty house with nothing to do and waiting for us to come home. We’ve used pet sitters in the past who charge way more and seem to do way less for our animals, Riptide Thunder Kennels is our new go-to for sure.
